Helping Users Find Answers Faster

Project: KANs HUB Website
Role: UI/UX Designer

KANs HUB is Malappuram's first coworking and startup ecosystem, supporting professionals, startups, students, and businesses since 2017. The goal of this project wasn't to create a flashy website. It was to make visitors quickly understand what KANs HUB offers and help them reach the right service with minimum effort.

The Challenge

Most visitors are not tech savvy. They don't want to read long paragraphs or explore multiple pages. They simply want answers.

The experience needed to build trust, explain the services clearly and make contacting KANs HUB effortless.

UX Decisions

Trust comes before action

The homepage doesn't start with a big call to action. Instead, it first introduces KANs HUB, its journey and its value. This helps visitors build confidence before taking the next step.

Typography with purpose

Instead of following a standard type scale everywhere, important information like contact details, navigation and key sections uses larger typography. The goal was to naturally guide attention without relying on extra visual elements.

Simple navigation

The footer only contains the pages users actually need.

  • Office Space
  • Virtual Office
  • Consulting Services

Removing unnecessary links keeps visitors focused and reduces confusion.

Every page has one purpose

Each service has its own dedicated page with only the information related to that service. This keeps the experience short, focused, and easy to understand.

Less content, more clarity

Every section was intentionally kept concise. Rather than explaining everything, the content answers only the questions visitors are most likely to have.

Outcome

Even before the official website launch, engagement increased through preview sharing and early access.

Some early results included:

  • Increased website engagement
  • More enquiries from potential customers
  • Better conversion into service discussions
  • Improved visibility on search engines, helping the website rank for relevant local searches

Key Takeaways

This project reminded me that good UX isn't about adding more sections or following every design trend.

Sometimes the best experience comes from removing distractions, keeping content short, and guiding users toward the information they actually need.

If visitors can understand a business in a few minutes without feeling lost, the design has done its job.
